item gifting is incredibly slow and cumbersome for players with large inventories or kennels.

-giving items may now be accomplished in your inventory.
click on the item, select "give this item away" and select the player.
-giving money and bones will be set up in the bank shortly

so far so good.

I have migrated pretty much everything.

looks good so far.

about the only thing not working(well) so far are private chats.

Assuming all is good tomorrow and I dont have a deluge of messages, then I'll start revamping the items /dogs database, and prepare for new content.

its been a long year , but looks like the mountain has been climbed!

THE PLAN
1. all the images into a new database, split the items, and dogs tables' image data into the new system.

this will solve any lingering speed issues, and make it much easier to add content, and render.

2. total redesign of item system, such that we can add more customization , make better content,

3. redesign dogs, same deal.

4. while new content is being produced, polish all the pages that were redesigned, and start refining all the updates

I have made massive changes to the backend file system in an effort to cleanup alacrity.

SOME PAGES MAY BE BROKEN. NOTIFY ME IN THE COMMENTS, MAIL, OR CHAT WINDOW IF YOU FIND SOMETHING .


This is in preparation for major system changes that will start coming in, IE:
-database changes for speed (dog)
-improving image storage (add more content)
-preparations for cutting over to newer php and server
-restructuring inventory etc

all the big stuff is coming soon.
