Alacrity 101 and Staff Games!

Hello Alacrity!

This is a long news post, with the first part being about this month's Staff Games and the 2nd about the winners and next installment of Alacrity 101. Take the time to read as it's a great opportunity to win some prizes!

It’s a new month and therefore a new contest has begun! You will probably recognize this contest as a similar one has been held before a few times. There are some changes, though.

Alacrity 101

Hello players, I'm The Professor here from Alacrity 101 and I'd like to announce that my class is starting a new session!

If you are a new player and are interested in learning more about the site while earning prizes, my class is perfect for you. I am even expanding my teachings to the older players of Alacrity as well, so that everyone may participate.

It is important to read everything in my lecture to help you out with the quiz that we will have every two weeks on the 1st and 15th each month. Once you have read everything in my lecture, feel free to settle down, get your pencils and papers out, and take my quiz!

Just message me (The Professor) all the questions and your answers to my classroom on account # -101. Don’t forget the negative! It cannot be scribbled to me or posted here or I cannot accept your test! If you are having trouble finding my home, please click [[here]] to be taken directly to it.

Please remember the Newbie Helpers and the rest of the site staff are here to help, but they’re not the only options to find answers on the site. Since all of the questions can be found in the above areas I told you about, you must search for them there. However, since the Issue Hub is a part of those resources, you are allowed to ask the Newbie Helpers for help with only one of the questions. Asking for the answers to the quiz in chat, forums, or through user messages will be a disqualification! In addition, I will only accept one entry per person, so you cannot enter your side account.

Mobile Layout

Hello All,

We've had several users report to the hub they're can access only an unworkable mobile layout for Alacrity on their iPads, phones, and other tablets.

We have had users requesting a mobile layout for Alacrity for awhile, and finally have begun working on one. However it is in the middle of coding and is not fully working yet.

We are working on either finishing this coding asap or making an option to use the regular site or mobile site, so that everyone can play Alacrity.

Please bear with us while we fix this issue.

i am one stuck in never never land, could read messages when logged in but couldnt do things with dogs and couldnt post an issue :( it had worked fine night prior to lockout.

thank you for working on fix, person mentioned puffin browser with flash sites so tried iswifter browser i have for flash on my ipad, whew IT WORKS! now to get to work.
