Alacrity Mascot - Some Details!

Woopsie daisy! We forgot to include some info on the contest news entry!

We are only accepting natural coated dogs! NO GLITCHES!

The only exception is if the glitch you use still looks like a natural color. As much as we all enjoy glitch dogs on the site, we simply would rather not have one as the official mascot/representative of Alacrity itself. This is the dog we'll be using in graphics all over the site, including the banner, so make sure you're submitting designs that are natural and attractive! Do your very best! :} The dogs can look fancy, have piebalding, etc. etc. but please no rainbow markings!

If you have already entered the contest with a glitch entry, you will be allowed to try again! :}

We're very sorry about the confusion! Remember, the winner of the design gets 2 custom dogs they get to design whatever way they want, with no bone limit! And whoever wins the naming contest gets a single custom dog! We're eager to see more entries, so hop on over to the Custom Tool and start designing! :D

Well, we can't really stop people from making duplicates if they figure the code out. It's not against the rules. But as a heads up, once we create the Mascot, its markings will be hidden. But you won't get in trouble if you make a duplicate. :}

Mascot Account!

This is just a little announcement to let everyone know that we are repurposing account #1 for our official mascot account! Previously, this account belonged to the former owner, Robyn, who left us after the site was sold to pursue some very important priorities in her life. Since she is no longer an active part of Alacrity, we asked her permission to repurpose the account, and she gave us the go-ahead. :D

Once a winner is picked from the Mascot Competition, the mascot dog will be made with this account, and our very talented Rabby will be doing a spiffy new icon for it! We can't wait! <3
