cleaning filesystem / bugfix

I'm cleaning up the file system to prepare for next rennovations and to see where I'm at.

if something breaks, please let me know so that I can revert that section

after I have a good handle on what remains I'll be working on image assets so that new content can be added. Posted by Sin Vraal (#18687) on Jun 18, 2023

user profile kennels now will display correctly.
if you are not the owner of a kennel you cannot click on it.
eventually plan to allow a user to set a kennel to public for others to view. for now can only see the kennel

inventory v2 LIVE

features:

-improved speed and stability.
-items cleaned. many broken items fixed. IE, new content
-addition / removal of content much easier!
-custom item maker improved
-custom item duplication added (click on custom item, select duplicate this item, works only for the original item maker)
-search box filter for those of you with massive inventories.
-better tools for smoother integration with dogs, and kennels.
-mobile friendly
-a lot more that I already forgot about since I've been working on this for a couple months :P

This update will make it easier for artists to create custom art, and even sell it if they want , with item duplication only being allowed for the original creator.

Although it doesnt do it **yet**, custom item creation will soon allow for fully functional multidog items. at present, created accessories only have 1 state for all dogs. after rework, they will be able to have unique states for each dog similar to regular items.

There is A LOT of stuff that did not make it in yet. there were limitations to what could be done due to the original software. I will make these improvements after I finish up the new inventory and content management structures, thereby get artists back to work for new content. Posted by Sin Vraal (#18687) on Jun 18, 2023

inventory v2 features

this is a revision plus minor enhancement to the existing inventory system. We arent quite ready to go live, but I thought I'd take a moment to go through what we are changing.

The code has been totally reworked from the ground up. it is presently designed to behave in function and appearance to the current inventory system.

however it will have several improvements in the first release.

--newish features
1/ all items have been cleaned. some that were broken and never released into the wild will now be available!
2/ custom accessory maker has been improved.
3/ the crafter of a custom accessory may now duplicate his own creations. if you’re an artist, you may now sell your wares!
4/ custom accessory history. those who create new accessories will be able to view them from a panel, and create them at will. the same as if you duplicate an item.

--technical goo --
1/ all items have been extracted from the system itself. new content may now be added with ease
2/ inventory will now be the central point for equipping AND removing accessories. you will still remove as normal from the dogs page, however the removal of equipment will go through the inventory system.
3/'effects' may now be managed and finally introduced, nearly a year after embarking on this endeavor!
4/ different game 'actors' (ie. dogs, handlers and kennels) will soon be able to handled by the system.
5/ paves the road for the asset management system, which will dramatically clean up art on alacrity!
