Begging...

It seems that there's been some issues, since the recent opening of another popular sim, with begging. You heard me right. Begging. I didn't think I'd ever have to remind anyone about this one, but apparently it's reached that point.

Asking someone, scribbling someone, even messaging and begging someone for invites to said sim is begging. Period. As such, anyone caught begging for invites will be in violation of General Rule #11. You can find that rule on The Rules page (also found at the bottom of every page by clicking the link titled "The Rules.") Remember, the penalty for begging can end up being the freezing of your account.

So, in conclusion, please don't beg. I am asking politely here. Also, if you see any begging behavior, please screenshot it and report it. Thank you for your time.

Alaween Town Updates

Good morning, ghouls and goblins!

I'd like to take a brief moment to direct your attention to the Halloween menu. You can now explore the wastelands of Alaween Town, where you can find money, items, and even game points! You get 5 explore turns each 30 minutes, with a maximum of 30 points at any given time. Yes, you will be able to purchase more turns--keep an eye out for that on the Exchange Bones page this evening!


I might also recommend stopping by a Staff member's page for an extra special treat. If you dare, simply approach a staff member's creepy house and see what you can pull out of their bag of goodies! You can currently trick or treat once every 4 hours, so don't forget to knock on doors often!

New Staff and Swords & Capes

Hullo Hullo Alacrity!

I have some extremely exciting announcements I am honored to make about our site staff!

Firstly, I hope you extend your congratulations to ThreeWhispers, she has agreed move from Helper staff to fill a vacated position on our Mod Team! It couldn't be a better fit and hopefully you don't give her too much trouble! ;D While you're scribbling congrats on her profile, sneak down and look at the customs she's working on to represent all of the characters she writes. From what I can tell, that means a lot of customs!

Then I hope you extend a warm, warm welcome to our two new members of the Newbie Helper team. Both Heaven Sent and -Gabby- have come aboard. They are wonderful players who come to add extra oomph to this hardworking little group. A few fun facts to know about our newest helpers: Gabby has a menagerie of animals including salt water fish, chinchillas, and even a peacock! She loves to talk about them, so feel free to ask her questions about what it's like to own a peacock. Heaven Sent is also an animal lover, her favorite being her guinea pigs. She says they are like potato chips, you can never have just one! Do we have any other guinea pig lovers who agree with this?

Change helps you feel alive and I'm very happy to be apart of this change by joining the admin team. I hope you give me time and patience while I learn everything there is to be an admin but I am always here to listen to you guys! A little bit about me is that I am currently learning Swedish and Finnish in my second stint in college, where I will be earning a Scandinavian Studies Degree with an emphasis in Finnish Language. If any of our members wish to hear me stumble over how to say "My name is ZJ" in either language, go right ahead and message me! I'm quite okay making a fool of myself, it's how I learn.

And now for the part you've all been waiting for:

Zombie Swords and Super Survivor Capes are for sale!

You can purchase these in the monthly shop for $15k. The Super Survivor Cape blocks all successful attacks for 1 hour and gives you 5 points per attack tried against you. The Zombie Sword allows you to attack every 10 minutes for a total of 1 hour. Now the game is going to get interesting.
