Thanksgiving Event!

Gobble gobble, Alacrites! ;D
For one week, Alacrity is running a Thanksgiving event from today and through to actual Thanksgiving day! We have last year's items (by Maggots #69) up in the Monthly Shop for purchase, and our wonderful Geist (#4246) has provided us with a gorgeous revamp of the old art for the Turkey companion, which will be an elusive Random Event! So keep your eyes peeled!
The art team has also provided brand new items for the season, which you will be allowed to give to one another as gifts! You will be allowed to give and receive just one gift per day, per account, so make sure to spread the spirit of giving around to your fellow players!
Turkey Platter (Deranged Hyena)
Turkey Dye (Nyctra - also available in Dyes 4 Dogs!)
Turkey Wings (Kittybot)
Autumn Background (Xylax)
Golden Fallen Leaves (Drawn by Maggots, recolored by Carnivale)
Golden Falling Leaves (Drawn by Maggots, recolored by Carnivale)
Cornucopia (Carnivale)
Scarecrow (Moriarty)
However, if you're trading gifts with one another, please refrain from doing these trades in Chat A, and take such interactions to Sales Chat or via private messages, to avoid spamming up normal conversations. <3
We hope you all enjoy the event! :D

Glitch poll results!
Hey everyone! Kittybot here, your Wiki Admin. Thanks to all of you for voting in the poll! We (the Wiki updaters) are working hard to bring the Wiki up to speed and to make it as useful and helpful to you as possible, so your input is a big help!
Now, there seems to be some confusion over the results of the poll. The clear result, far and away, is that most of you want as comprehensive of a glitch guide as possible. However, many of you are vehemently against this, feeling that glitches are something that should be figured out by each user individually. As a glitch breeder myself, I can understand and respect both sides. To compromise between these views, we will be making a small how-to guide featuring only simple rainbow colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) and these only as full coats. Our lovely updater Derp will be making this guide and will be coming up with the colors from the Custom Tool as she makes it, so those of you who were anxious about having your special glitch forumlas shared needn't worry. In this way we will be able to provide a helpful how-to guide for those just starting out with glitches, without drowning ourselves in the work required for a comprehensive list and, hopefully, without stepping on the toes of any of Alacrity's many esteemed glitch breeders.
If any of you have ideas for articles you would LIKE to see on the Wiki, feel free to suggest them, either here, on the Suggest Something forums, or to me via private message :)
Thanks very much to Carni for posting this!

Welcome the Catahoula Cur to Alacrity!

Well, Alacrites, we just couldn't contain ourselves! After working double-time and finishing the new breed ahead of schedule, along with tons of updating on old items (oowww my aching neck!), I ran it by Robyn and she agreed; we absolutely must release them now!
While most items have been caught up, we're still lacking dyes and some scattered items from the rest of the art team, so please allow a one month grace period before you start sending in reports to the issue hub! We just need this extra time to tie up and pin down the items we lack, but the vast majority is already finished, so you shouldn't run into too many problems. :}
The Catahoula Cur will be released in the Custom Tool for everyone to play with and to start planning and making your very own dogs! For two weeks this will be the only way to obtain the new breed, other than keeping an eye on auctions and sales to see if any puppies are born. After this time period, the breed will start being released in Foundation Auctions.
I hope you all enjoy the new breed, and I can't wait to see all the fantastic new customs sure to spill through the floodgates! ;D
